CODEDAGGER

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

CODEDAGGER (“CODEDAGGER”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect through codedagger.com.au (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It is written to be consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide to us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, work email address, company name, the type of enquiry, and any project details you include in your message.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, for security and site-performance purposes.
  • Cookies. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form;
  • Provide quotes, proposals, and information about our services;
  • Maintain records of our communications with prospective and current clients;
  • Keep the Site secure and diagnose technical issues; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. How we share your information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Contact form submissions are processed and delivered to us via a third-party form service (e.g. Formspree), and the Site is hosted on cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS Amplify). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CODEDAGGER, our clients, or others.
  • Business changes. If CODEDAGGER is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data storage and security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Information submitted through our contact form is stored by our form processing and hosting providers, which may store data outside Australia. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, maintain business records, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

6. Your rights and choices

You may ask us to:

  • Provide access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date; and
  • Delete your personal information, where we are not required to keep it.

To make a request, email us at hello@codedagger.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.

7. Third-party links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.

8. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
